Memberships for the year for AAS are $30 with newsletter,
or $25 with emailed newsletter only. Nothing due at the meeting.
Memberships run for one year from the month of joining.
Guest fees are $5 per meeting.
MEETING ROOM CHANGE
beginning January 2008
Due to the City of Akron deciding to renovate the park and the building,
all activities at the Garden Center have been cancelled for 2008.
In addition, the future beyond 2008 is also an unknown.
Therefore it has been recommended that we find a temporary-permanent
new room. Thanks to the work of Cheri Deyling we have found one.
It is located at the Copley Community Center… pavilion
building 1278 Sunset Drive, Copley Ohio.
Directions: If you normally take I-77 north or south and exit at White Pond…
Copley Road is either the exit before or the exit after.
Exit I-77 at Copley Road… head WEST on Copley Rd away from
Akron toward Copley.
It is about 8 minutes to Copley Circle… the circle is the third red light.
Go beyond the circle about 100 feet… Sunset Drive is on the RIGHT…
police station on the corner…
The pavilion building is the LAST building on the right side.
From the north, you can take 21 South off of I-77…
Copley Road is the next exit… turn left (east) off the ramp
Sunset Drive is about a quarter mile … just before the circle.
Cleveland-Massillon Road also runs north/south through Copley Circle…
